We are looking for a room leader to join our ever growing setting, who is at least childcare level three qualified with at least 1 year room leader experience or the experience to step up.
Each day, you will lead the team in your room to provide amazing opportunities to help children learn, play and grow. You will be ensuring high standards in your room, creating an exceptional room environment and supporting your team in their roles.
You must be imaginative, self motivated, passionate and a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills. You must also be committed to ongoing personal development. With a love of the outdoors.
You must have at least relevant and recognised level 3 qualification in childcare/early years to be considered to for this role.
Birstall Rainbow Nursery is the longest running nursery in Birstall and has a fantastic reputation locally. You will be working in our friendly with a team dedicated to giving children the best start to life.
Your role will include:
* Lead a small team in your room to provide an exceptional level of childcare, supported by the nursery management team.
* Maintain good practice in your room, ensuring that the EYFS is adhered to and the room environment appropriate.
* Supported supervision of children aged 0-4.
* Supervising and monitoring the safety of the children.
* Feeding and changing the children, as needed.
* Leading the planning of day to day activities.
* Building strong relationships with parents.
* Keeping records of children's progress, routines, and interests.
This is a full time (40 or 41.25 hours per week), all year round position.
