The Payroll Services team provide payroll and “time and attendance” administration for all NHS Tayside employees and Managers. Due to a vacancy arising, we are recruiting a member of staff to provide specific support to our SSTS (Scottish Standard Time System) team.

The SSTS Team is responsible for the administration of the Scottish Standard Time System, which is used by all wards/departments to record employee working patterns and absences in order to generate appropriate salary payments for processing, by our Payroll system. As an SSTS Administrator, you will be responsible for updating the system to reflect employee and employment changes, undertaking various quality assurance checks and providing advice and guidance to system users.

Attention to detail and ability to problem solve is required, as well as maintaining high standards of accuracy whilst working to strict deadlines. Good communication and organisation skills are key requirements as well as a commitment to delivering excellent customer care.

Applications are therefore invited from individuals who will enjoy working in a busy, professional environment for the following post within NHS Tayside’s Payroll Services Department based in the MacKenzie Building, Ninewells Site, Dundee. You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.

Hours of work are: 36.00 hours per week. Fixed Term/Secondment for 12 Months.

Current NHS Tayside Employees - Written approval must be sought from your line manager prior to applying for this secondment. You will be required to bring this if shortlisted for interview.
