Registered Nursing Associate/Assistant Practitioner
Band 4 - Full time-37.5 hours per week- Permanent
The Tameside & Glossop District Nursing Service are currently looking to recruit a Band 4 Registered Nurse Associate. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our award winning service and developing integrated organisation. If you are a self-motivated, dynamic individual with a passion for community care, this could be the position for you.
You will be working alongside a multi-skilled team of community nurses led by Specialist Practitioners in District Nursing, delivering nursing care to a diverse population within a variety of settings in the community.
The District Nurse Team promote wellbeing and independence to all our patients in an understandable and approachable way. We provide the most appropriate care, working alongside families, carers and other agencies.
You must be able to display effective communication skills with patients, family, carers as well as the wider multi professional workforce.
The RNA will work as part of the Health and Social Care Team, be multiskilled and will work across the various disciplines. They will provide planned care and be able to take appropriate action to achieve the planned aims. The Assistant Practitioner will be proficient, competent and require minimum supervision. The role specific higher technical/clinical skills of the post will be further enhanced as part of an induction programme during the first 6-12 months of employment with supervised assessed competencies being signed off by a registered professional.
