Salary: £93 – £115 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently seeking proactive and dependable Cover Supervisors for flexible day-to-day work in schools across Wombwell. As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring that students remain on task and complete the work set.
Responsibilities as a Cover Supervisor:
* Supervise pupils in the absence of their teacher, using pre-set work.
* Ensure a safe and positive learning environment is maintained.
* Encourage student engagement and manage behaviour in line with school policies.
* Provide feedback to teachers about pupil progress and classroom experiences.
* Step into various subject classrooms across different Key Stages.
Requirements for Cover Supervisor:
* Previous experience in an educational setting or working with young people is desirable.
* A confident and resilient approach to classroom management.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
* A full CV covering the last 10 years, with any employment gaps explained.
