The opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Protection Adviser to join our employed team, supporting our growth ambitions for the future. Reporting to the Partnership Services Team Leader, the primary purpose of this role is to proactively own and manage high quality protection and GI advice following the Openwork Sales Process guidelines. Key Accountabilities:
1. To demonstrate an excellent and comprehensive up to date knowledge of existing Openwork Protection & GI product suite.
2. To identify customer needs and provide accurate and compliant advice relevant to customer’s individual situation through professional and confident communication.
3. To pro-actively follow up pipeline cases proactively and timely to establish a case resolution Ensuring that all cases follow the Openwork’s T&C Framework.
4. To be responsible for the end to end advice process.

5. Salary – up to £40,000
6. Bonus scheme – on target bonus 7.5%
7. Pension scheme – contribute up to 5% of your salary and Openwork will match you and add an extra 5%

What will you need to succeed?
13. Essential | 1yrs+ experience in Protection advice
14. Desirable | RO5 or equivalent (Studying for)
15. Desirable | GI sales experience
16. A clear communicator who can engage clients over the phone
17. Proven track record as a protection adviser, exceeding quality and income targets
18. Exceptional telephone sales skills
19. Ability to work to pre-determined deadlines in a fast paced, target driven environment
20. Self-motivated with ability to work within a team
21. A result orientated individual with drive, determination and a great deal of integrity
22. Knowledge of Financial Services products and advice guidelines including Protection is essential
23. Essential | Customer engagement skills (including questioning, probing, listening, establishing rapport, matching and closing)
24. Listening and being able to build relationships at point of contact
25. Demonstrate real enthusiasm and have a persuasive ability
26. Self-motivated and organised
27. Punctual and reliable
28. Flexible in working hours
