About the Role
Our client its looking to bring in a Head of Compliance to help take the firm through the next phases of growth and expansion. We want a strong leader to develop the Compliance team. We're looking for a candidate that can elevate the team to reach greater heights whilst quickly establishing themselves in the business in order to build strong relationships across all levels. This role incorporates a diverse and rewarding workload with opportunity for progression – something that is passionate about – and the expectation is you will strategically lead and drive the team’s direction for all things Risk & Compliance, working with the Director of Legal & Compliance.
Responsibilities
* Lead the day-to-day running of the Compliance function.
* Provide high-quality regulatory advice to internal stakeholders on a range of issues, acting as a technical and subject matter expert, including in relation to regulatory permissions, the applicable FCA handbook provisions (CONC, DISP, SYSC, Consumer Duty, SMCR).
* Oversee and drive the application of regulatory requirements in the business’ day-to-day operations (in particular the customer journey and any written customer interactions).
* Develop relationships across the wider operational, tech and support business functions to create open and positive dialogue with key stakeholders.
* Lead and drive the development and enhancement of the current suite of regulatory advice, controls, reports, metrics and tracking.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a senior compliance role within an FCA-regulated business, including leading and developing teams.
* Experience in a high growth / high change business desirable.
