Overview
Aspire People are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school. The successful candidate will support teachers in delivering high-quality education to students, assist with classroom management, and foster a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities
* Help with lesson preparation
* Support individual and group activities
* Promote student engagement and assist with classroom management
Key Requirements
* Previous UK teaching assistant experience
* Experience with SEN children, specifically autism
* Recent experience in a primary school setting (within the last year)
* A passion for supporting children\'s learning and development
Eligibility and References
To be eligible for this role, you must have the right to work in the UK and hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to apply for a new one. Additionally, you will need to provide the last two years of references.
