Scott Anson Painters & Decorators have over 25 years' experience in both commercial and domestic settings. We undertake a range of projects such as new builds, commercial and industrial properties, regeneration works, and void properties. We have an office/yard in Sheffield however we work nationally so a full driving licence and a mode of transport is essential for this role.
We have recently won a variety of works across Yorkshire and the West Midlands and are now looking for painters to help us carry out these works in 2025.
We have multiple opportunities for qualified, reliable and committed painters who are looking for long term, self-employed work.
Applicants MUST:
* Hold a full driving licence and have their own method of transportation
* Have a valid and in date CSCS card - it is desired that this is a blue skilled worker card however, if the right candidate has a wealth of knowledge and skills in painting and decorating – a green labours card would be considered at the directors' discretion.
* Have Public Liability Insurance (minimum £2 million limit of indemnity)
* A UKATA Asbestos Awareness Certificate would be an advantage for applicants, however, this isn't essential upon application as we can organise this training.
We paint both interior and exterior areas, use commercial grade wallpaper, and specialise in spraying. The applicant would ideally have experience and knowledge (but not limited to) the areas outlined. The projects we carry out can be fast paced and deadline driven, so someone with enthusiasm and the ability to work under pressure whilst still leaving a high quality and standard of finish would make an ideal candidate.
Rate of pay will be dependant on skills/qualifications, experience and ability. This will be discussed and agreed with the successful applicant and the directors prior to commencing.
