About the role
Our Senior Design Managers play a key part in driving quality outcomes, enhancing buildability, and fostering innovation. They work collaboratively with customers and industry specialists to ensure that the design develops in accordance with the brief, focusing on added value, compliance, commercial viability, and best practice.
As our Senior Design Manager, you will
* Review the current design of all projects and conduct detailed risk and opportunities appraisals to mitigate risk, enhance buildability, and add value before the construction phase.
* Work with the project team, Lead Designer and Consultant Team to produce and manage a realistic design programme and schedule of required information to satisfy design, procurement, and construction requirements.
* Collaborate closely with the Commercial and Operations Teams to ensure all design deliverables are fully coordinated, buildable, and within budget, and contribute to technical workshops and value‑management exercises as needed.
