Overview
Specialist pharmacist to supervise and support aseptic preparation and dispensing of medicines under Section 10 exemption from the Medicines Act. Supports the Accountable Pharmacist and Deputy Accountable Pharmacist to ensure that the aseptic preparation of medicines within Section 10 units is compliant with Good Manufacturing Practice and Quality Assurance of Aseptic Preparation Services (QAAPS). Specialist Pharmacist for the Section 10 aseptic preparation units at UHDB, overseeing aseptic preparation and compliance with statutory requirements and Good Manufacturing Practice standards. Provides support to technical services team regarding technical aspects of aseptic preparation services. Coordinates with the Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Pharmacy Support Staff, Pharmacy Quality Assurance / Control Team in other sections.
