Hours: 8:30am - 4pm, Monday to Friday
We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join a school adjacent nursery in Barnet. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional passionate about supporting children's learning and development in a nurturing, child‑centred environment.
Key Requirements for this early years practitioner role
* Applicants must hold a CACHE Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in Early Years/Childcare.
* We are only considering candidates with proven qualifications and experience in nursery settings.
Responsibilities
* Creating a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment where children can thrive.
* Planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.
* Observing, assessing, and recording each child's development and progress.
* Acting as a key person for a group of children, building strong relationships with families.
* Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of care and education.
* Ensuring safeguarding, health & safety, and welfare procedures are upheld at all times.
What We're Looking For
* CACHE Level 3 (or equivalent) Early Years/Childcare qualification – essential.
* Proven nursery or early years experience.
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
* Passion for supporting learning through play‑based activities.
* Positive, proactive, and flexible team player.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
