About the role You will be a member of The Aquatic Ecology research group with responsibility for the provision of research support across multiple freshwater ecology projects. The post holder will provide advice and guidance to research students. You will manage your own research and administrative activities, within guidelines provided by senior colleagues. You will gather and manage ecological data from the field and the laboratory and contribute to the administration of the research group, including purchasing equipment and reagents. Assisting with the preparation and authorship of scientific publications and journal articles will be part of the role. About you You must hold a first degree, together with relevant experience in freshwater ecology research related to multiple stressors. You will possess sufficient specialist knowledge in the discipline to work within established research programmes and experience running mesocosm experiments in aquatic environments. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write text that can be published, present data at conferences, and represent the research group at meetings is essential.
