Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work as part of the Practice Primary Health Care Team, providing the full range of General Medical Services to registered and temporary patients while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering safe, compassionate and high-quality clinical care
Providing continuity of care and developing long-term patient relationships
Undertaking face-to-face, telephone and online consultations
Reviewing pathology results, clinical correspondence and medication requests
Completing referrals, reports, repeat prescribing and other clinical administration
Undertaking home visits when required
Contributing to the achievement of QOF, Enhanced Services and other practice objectives
Participating in clinical governance, audit and quality improvement activities
Working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team
Attending meetings such as practice, PCN, prescribing, safeguarding
Contributing to service development
The number of sessions is flexible and can be discussed with suitable candidates.

Job responsibilities
As a Salaried GP within the practice, you will provide comprehensive, patient-centred medical services, including consultations, clinical assessment and decision-making, medication management, correspondence, home visits, and associated clinical responsibilities.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
* Deliver high-quality clinical care in accordance with GMC guidance, NHS standards, and evidence-based best practice.
* Make professional and autonomous decisions regarding the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients.
* Maintain accurate, timely, and contemporaneous clinical records.

Person Specification
Qualifications
*. Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a current Licence to Practise.
*. Inclusion on the NHS England Medical Performers List.
* Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Practice or equivalent qualification.
*. Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
*. Eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
*. Additional postgraduate qualifications relevant to primary care.
*. Evidence of participation in quality improvement, audit, teaching, research, or service development activities.
*. Special clinical interests that would complement and enhance existing practice services.
Experience
*. Experience of working in UK General Practice.
*. Experience of managing a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions in a primary care setting.
*. Ability to undertake independent clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients.
*. Experience of working within a multidisciplinary team.
*. Proficient in maintaining accurate and contemporaneous clinical records.
*. Experience of prescribing safely and effectively in accordance with national and local guidance.
