Technical Support Officer – Compliance (Electrical) Shropshire Hybrid £27.00 ph Full time Overview of your role To ensure the highest standards of electrical compliance and safety within the council, delivering high-quality, cost-effective services that meet regulatory requirements and enhance customer satisfaction.

Be responsible for the preparing, reviewing, monitoring and updating service contract specifications in line with current legislation and PSG contract documentation.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, audits, and inspections.
Oversee and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Ensure regular inspections and testing of all plant, systems and equipment.
Ensuring that works carried out by maintenance service contractors complies with standards required by servicing specifications.
Essential At least 5 years of experience in compliance management or a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of compliance safety regulations and standards.
Working knowledge of building services systems (electrical, mechanical services, HVAC etc.) installation and operation.
An in depth understanding of Health & Safety.
We have collaborative working day once a week in Shrewbury, other than that it will be ad-hoc site visits which could be scheduled to consolidate into a second day (though not every week), but do need fluidity around this.
