Driver Hire Edinburgh City is currently recruiting experienced Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to support a well-established client, with roles available across both East and West depot locations.

📍 Edinburgh West – Flexible Ad Hoc Work
1. Shifts offered on an as-and-when basis
2. Typical start time: 7:00am
3. Ideal for drivers seeking flexibility
📍 Edinburgh East – Full-Time Ongoing Role
4. Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays
5. Consistent 8:00am starts
6. Ongoing work with long-term potential
➕ Additional shifts may be available across both depots depending on demand.
💰 Pay Rates
PAYE:
7. £14.50 per hour
8. £19.32 per hour (after 8 hours)
PAYE Advanced:
9. £16.25 per hour
10. £21.66 per hour (after 8 hours)
✅ Minimum 8 hours’ pay guaranteed per shift

🚚 The Role
11. Driving a Class 2 vehicle completing multi-drop deliveries
12. Working with a driver’s mate to assist with loading and unloading
13. Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time
14. Carrying out daily vehicle checks and maintaining accurate records
15. Providing a professional and friendly customer service
✅ Requirements
16. Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
17. Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
18. Maximum 9 penalty points (no DD, DR, CD, or IN endorsements)
19. Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
20. Minimum 12 months’ Class 2 driving experience
