Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement flat roofing strategies to drive growth, improve profitability, and manage relationships with suppliers, customers, and branches.
2. Manage sales and gross margins for flat roofing in the North-West region.
3. Prepare and maintain budgets for the region.
4. Propose category changes, including suppliers, ranges, and stock profiles, to the board.
5. Act as a liaison between suppliers and branch managers.
6. Establish and agree on customer portfolios with branch managers, the Regional Director, and the Category Manager, forming part of the incentive scheme.
7. Engage with suppliers to enhance understanding of their flat roofing systems.
8. Work with the Category Manager to implement pricing policies.
9. Develop category plans in collaboration with Marketing, Branch Managers, the Regional Director, and the Category Manager.
10. Coordinate trade shows and demo events.
11. Stay updated on industry and product developments, adapting strategies as needed.
12. Manage working capital by monitoring stock levels, profiles, and turnover, including slow-moving and obsolete stock.
13. Review category performance monthly against objectives.
