New regulations and changing business needs and the continual emerging IT Security and Cybersecurity threat landscape, require the MMO to continually improve its technology, policies, procedures, protocols, and agreements, that enable the handling of personal and operational data in a secure and compliant manner.
The DTI supports the MMO Senior Responsible Owner (SRO), the Director of D&A, in discharging the responsibilities of managing information risk, and leading the MMO's IT Security, Cybersecurity, data protection, data and technology services, and information management functions.

* Maintain accurate financial tracking of IT security spend and control of resource allocation, including oversight of technical specialist deployments, delivery models, budget monitoring, and invoice management.
* Development and maintenance of business flow documentation to MMO standards.
* Provide cover for the SEO Technical Assurance Specialist as required, including engagement with senior stakeholders, up to and including Senior Civil Service level or equivalent.
* Leverage own expertise to continually develop guidance documents and process flows to support MMO IT Security & Cybersecurity practices within the MMO.
