We are a growing, premium property estate agency specialising in residential, commercial, and investment properties in the UK, with a strong focus on international clients and cross-border opportunities. We're seeking an experienced Legal Adviser to provide specialist property legal support, particularly for transactions involving Africa (especially Kenya and South Africa) and Dubai. Role Overview: Provide expert legal advice on UK property matters while leveraging deep knowledge of international property laws to facilitate smooth, compliant deals for our diverse client base. You'll handle conveyancing, contracts, due diligence, and risk management in a fast-paced agency environment. Key Responsibilities Advise on UK residential/commercial property transactions, including sales, purchases, leases, and investments. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, tenancy agreements, and transaction documents. Conduct due diligence, manage conveyancing, and resolve title/compliance issues. Apply knowledge of international property laws (particularly in Kenya, South Africa, and Dubai ) to support cross-border clients/investors. Ensure full compliance with UK regulations (AML, SRA standards, Land Registry) and relevant overseas laws where applicable. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and management teams to progress deals efficiently. Stay current on UK and key international property law developments. Essential Requirements 5 years' post-qualification (commonwealth jurisdiction) experience as a solicitor/Advocate, licensed conveyancer, or equivalent in a property advisory capacity. Strong expertise in UK property/conveyancing law (residential and commercial). Proven understanding of international property laws, especially in Africa (Kenya and South Africa) and Dubai (e.g., foreign ownership rules, land tenure, freehold/leasehold differences, cross-border investment structures). Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client communication skills. Commercial awareness and the ability to manage multiple files under pressure. Qualified in the UK (solicitor/conveyancer) or equivalent recognised qualification. Desirable Experience advising on international real estate investments or cross-border transactions. Knowledge of additional regions or multilingual skills (e.g., basic Arabic for client engagement). Familiarity with property CRM systems. What We Offer Competitive salary.
