We are thrilled to announce a fantastic permanent opportunity for a Technical Training Specialist at our vibrant Severn Beach, Bristol site. In this role, you will empower our employees and Customer Engineering teams with the essential technical expertise and skills they need to thrive. You will take the lead in designing and delivering robust training programs tailored to fulfil the specific needs of our service department and customer maintenance personnel. This position will require collaboration with various departments and subject matter experts to create impactful training materials and conduct dynamic training sessions. Additionally, you will play a key role in managing and conducting Factory Acceptance Tests, both remotely and in person.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, videos, and e-learning modules.
2. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes
3. Collaborate with department managers to identify specific training needs and develop customised programs to address those needs.
4. Conduct Training Needs Analysis to identify training requirements
5. Deliver training sessions in a variety of formats, including in-person, virtual, and e-learning courses (this could involve travelling to customer sites, globally).
FAT (Factory Acceptance Test)
6. Take accountability to perform system inspection and functionality in the presence of the customer.
7. Research customer and product
8. Explain customer journey/roadmap
9. Achieve Factory Acceptance
10. Become familiar with variation in products/modules etc.
11. Where FATs are in person, manage hosting, meet and greet etc. WI-692
12. When FAT is performed remotely, become fluent with the remote studio.
13. Knowledge of incoterms/logistics (unloading and delivery etc.)
14. Arrange time with the Test Engineer to gain tool familiarity
15. You will be responsible for the complete process.
Education/Qualifications:
16. Degree/HND/HNC or substantial demonstrable experience in an appropriate engineering discipline (electrical, electronic, RF).
17. Ideally, a recognised training qualification or demonstrable experience.
18. Substantial experience of plasma technology/semiconductor manufacturing equipment and processes.

Desirable
24. Proven experience in designing and delivering technical training programs, preferably in a technical corporate environment.
25. Good practical experience with MS Office products.
