Subject to formal establishment, a vacancy may arise for a Squadron Leader (Any Profession) to serve as SO2 Combat Air (CA) Development Programme PMO Performance at RAF Coningsby on Full Time Reserve Service (Limited Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 02 November 2026. This role provides essential support to CAFHQ by leading performance assurance, risk management, and organisational learning across CA. You will deliver clear performance insights, maintain key risk registers, and support investment and Command Plan decisions. As a key focal point for lessons and Optimise analysis, you will help strengthen force readiness and provide decision advantage to senior RAF commanders. Key Responsibilities Performance Management Develop and monitor CA performance metrics and KPIs Analyse performance data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions Support Balance of Investment (BoI) decisions through evidence-based analysis Risk Management Maintain and update CA risk registers in accordance with MOD policy Identify, assess, and mitigate risks impacting capability delivery and operational effectiveness Initiate and co-ordinate reviews of PARMIS risks across the force Provide risk assurance to senior stakeholders and governance boards Command Plan Assurance Staffing support to CA Command Plan inputs Organisation Learning CAFHQ Lead for Organisational Learning Compile lessons, risks and actions following events and cohere on PARMIS and other systems as required CA Optimise Analyse performance data in support of Optimise activity and metrics Deputise for SO1 CA Optimise when required
