Reporting directly to Tool Room Manager, the role of Toolmaker requires you to manufacture, maintain and repair tooling and dies to precise engineering drawings within tight tolerances, produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines, maintain quality and safety standards, keep accurate records and be responsible for the maintenance of equipment and supplies. Toolmaker duties will include: * Disassembly and reassembly of tools * Tool splitting and regrinding * Replacing component parts * Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces * Maintain specifications by observing all associated operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools * Operate manual and CNC machinery * Manual milling, turning, surface grinding, 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC milling, bench work * Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations * Ensure maintenance of Quality standards Skills/Attributes required by Toolmaker: * Previous experienc...
