General Services Manager Location: Milton Keynes, MK7 7AJ Contract Type: Full-Time | Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum plus 10% bonus About the Role We’re looking for an experienced General Services Manager to lead Sodexo facilities operations at one of our larger sites in Milton Keynes. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality services across cleaning, security, and other soft FM areas—ensuring compliance, safety, cost control, and outstanding client satisfaction. This is a key role where you'll act as the main operational contact for the client, manage on-site teams, and ensure services are delivered in line with contractual SLAs and KPIs. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day delivery of soft services and security operations Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations (including risk assessments, COSHH, fire safety) Manage on-site teams, drive performance, and foster a positive work environment Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact Monitor budgets and control costs to ensure profitability Conduct regular audits, service reviews, and client meetings Support new service mobilisations and identify growth opportunities Champion continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery Promote Sodexo brand standards and company values at all times What We’re Looking For Proven experience inFacilities Management, especially soft services and security Strong understanding ofHealth & Safety compliance(IOSH Managing Safely is essential) Financially astute with experience managing budgets and operational costs Excellent people management and leadership skills Confident communicator and relationship-builder with clients and teams Able to work across multiple sites and manage priorities effectively Familiar with systems such asSAP, UDC Payroll, Righttime, or similar Why Sodexo?
