Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sub Agent to join a motorways scheme project team. The Sub Agent will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing various aspects of the project, ensuring its successful completion within budget, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and coordinate site activities, including subcontractor management, materials procurement, and construction scheduling.
2. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality control procedures.
3. Manage project budgets, costs, and resources effectively to achieve optimal results.
4. Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver project objectives.
5. Provide leadership and guidance to site personnel, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
6. Monitor progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
7. Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, schedules, and records of materials and equipment.
Requirements:
8. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
9. Proven experience working on motorways or major highways projects.
10. Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and industry best practices.
11. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
12. Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
13. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
14. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
15. Professional certifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, NEBOSH) are desirable.
