Service Care Solutions is working alongside the London Borough of Barnet Council to find a talented individual for a client manager role within their growing organization. Please find the role details below.
Role: Accountancy Officer
Location: Barnet
Salary: £16.50 to £20.17 per hour (PAYE excl.) / £18.27 to £22.49
Working: Hybrid, 37 hours per week
Contract: 3 months ongoing
Role Overview:
* Administer and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
* Support the finance management team in the preparation of budgets, financial reports, and audits.
* Process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions efficiently and in compliance with established procedures.
* Assist in reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
* Maintain and update financial databases and accounting systems.
* Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and Council policies.
* Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents, businesses, and other stakeholders.
* Respond to financial enquiries and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency of financial processes.
* Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role as required.
