Providing detailed PM Reports for uploading into Computerised Maintenance System. Ensure all work is carried out in a Safe and effective manner, in accordance with appropriate Legislation and Company Procedures, where required develop/assist in the provision of Task Risk Assessments and Method Statements. Work with other members of the Team to diagnose faults, monitor performance of Mechanical Equipment and highlight opportunities for improvement. Ensure Spare Mechanical Components are readily available, including highlighting the need for spare parts and coordinating items/materials through the Workshop. You’ll be a member of a small, multi-disciplined Maintenance Team working on a batch Chemical Processing Site with the opportunity to work on a wide range of activities associated with both Planned and Reactive Maintenance. As required, you’ll be expected to support and supplement the Team in delivering the Maintenance requirements, and as such a defined area of responsibility within the Maintenance Department will be assigned to you. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to develop skill sets to assist the Team in the overall delivering the Maintenance Service. Minimum Qualifications: Appropriate mechanical fitter apprenticeship (or similar) Experience in the repair, installation and maintenance of mechanical systems Basic IT skills Physical Demands: Ability to work at height or within confined spaces as required (training will be provided). This role requires working on a chemical manufacturing plant.
