Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Practice Nurse to support GP practices across Gateshead on an ad hoc / bank basis. This is a great opportunity if you want flexible work, a friendly team environment, and consistent bookings when you’re available.
Pay:£22–£25 per hour (depending on experience)
Location: Gateshead (and nearby)
Shifts: Ad hoc / flexible (days agreed in advance)
Responsibilities
- Wound care / dressings
- Cervical smears (if signed off)
- Chronic disease management (as appropriate)
- Supporting the wider clinical team with high-quality patient care
What we’re looking for
- Recent primary care / GP practice nursing experience
- Confident working autonomously in a busy practice setting
- Up-to-date immunisations / treatment room skills (and relevant certifications where applicable)
