We are looking to recruit a Full Time Hotel Front Desk Receptionist to join the Langham Hotel Family.
Please only apply for this position if you have previous 'Hotel Front Desk Experience' for up to 2 years. We will only consider applicants who have previously worked in this role at a HOTEL.
Reporting to our Front Office Manager you will form an integral part of the customers journey and the Langham hotel team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing customer service excellence and possess efficient communication skills and administration etiquette. Previous experience working with the following PMS is an advantage but full training will be provided: Guestline, Newbridge, Res-Diary, MS Office, Canva and General computer knowledge will be essential to this role.
Your main responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:
· Providing ALL guests with a warm friendly welcome, good communication and efficient service throughout their stay and a fond farewell on departure.
· Answering phone calls in a friendly professional manner, taking responsibility and communicating with other departments and guests.
· Receiving telephone & online reservations and inputting these into our Property Management System.
. Working with Online Travel Agent Extranets and Channel Manager.
· Flexibility in response to a wide range of internal and external requests.
· The action of daily arrivals and departures, including groups.
· Responding daily to emails and messages in a friendly professional manner
· The production of daily communication reports.
· Execution of daily shift and banking procedures.
· The adherence to all Health & Safety and Fire departmental procedures.
