The Role:
This position offers a genuine mix of veterinary work across species, approximately 70% small animal and 30% large animal, including routine care, diagnostics, surgery, preventative medicine, and emergency support. You will be part of a collaborative team of experienced professionals, with opportunities to develop your skills and take on new clinical challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality veterinary care across small animals, farm livestock, and equine.
* Conduct routine check-ups, diagnostics, treatments, and surgeries.
* Provide emergency care as part of a 24-hour on-call rota.
* Build strong client relationships, offering advice and education on animal health.
* Participate in continuing professional development to stay up-to-date with advancements in veterinary medicine
* Work collaboratively with the veterinary team, including nurses and support staff.
About You:
* Qualified and RCVS-registered veterinarian with a passion for mixed species practice.
* Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience.
* Excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Commitment to delivering exceptional care and building lasting client relationships.
* Positive attitude, proactive approach, and a good sense of humour.
