We currently have a permanent vacancy on a 52-week contract within Schools and Nurseries in Anstruther.
* Assistant Janitor - 36 hours per week, working Monday to Friday between 7:00am to 4:00pm, on a permanent 52-week contract.
You will earn a salary of £23,783.40 to £24,890.91 per year, with enhancements for weekends and shift work, and have access to benefits including:
* £12.67 per hour to start, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
* Pay is 4 weekly and annualised for 40-week contracts.

Undertaking prescribed cleaning procedures and ensuring all bodily fluid/spillages are handled according to guidelines.
Ensuring educational establishments and grounds are opened and secured at prescribed times.
Co-operating with personnel and agencies to maintain security.
Willingness to complete additional training as required.
Responding to emergency call-outs, attending locations, contacting authorities, inspecting for damage or theft, repairing, and liaising with contractors/emergency services.
Carrying out procedures in case of fire, flooding, accidents, or damage, including liaising with staff and contractors.
The Person
A driver’s licence is desirable.
Ability to provide effective service, working alone or as part of a team.
Attendance at an Induction Training Day is required before starting.
Before appointment, you must obtain PVG scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and join the relevant PVG scheme.
