Driver Hire Southampton are recruiting on behalf of a well-established general haulage company for an experienced Class 2 Driver. This is a great opportunity to join a professional and supportive operation delivering palletised freight to commercial customers across the UK.

About this Class 2 position:
* Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays on a rota basis
* Start time: 7:15am
* Long-distance deliveries throughout the UK
* Delivering palletised freight to commercial customers
* Use of a pump truck for unloading pallets (some sites may unload via forklift)
* Completing daily vehicle checks and accurately maintaining all paperwork
Requirements from you as a Class 2 Driver:
* Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
* Minimum of 2 years' Class 2 driving experience
* Previous experience strapping loads securely
* Experience driving 18-tonne or 26-tonne curtain-side tail-lift vehicles
* Good understanding of drivers' hours and health & safety regulations
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
* Reliable, professional, and safety-focused approach
