We are seeking an enthusiastic Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist to join the Integrated Stroke Early Supported Discharge & Community Neuro Rehabilitation Service. The service provides both stroke rehabilitation & community neuro rehabilitation supporting service users with a variety of complex needs.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an established multi-disciplinary team comprising of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech & Language Therapists, Psychologists, Specialist Nurses & Neuro Rehab assistants.
This role requires the candidate to manage a clinical caseload across the South of Cambridgeshire. The base will be Brookfields – Cambridge or Hinchingbrooke Hospital – Huntingdon.
The role involves visiting patients in their homes, wards or community gyms. There may be times when needed to provide clinical cover elsewhere within Cambridgeshire. The role requires agile working often using virtual consultation to manage a caseload.
Please note for this role you will be required to travel independently around the county meeting strict time deadlines. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence* and have use of a vehicle. You cannot use public transport for this role as this is not a reliable form of transport and will not allow you to meet service needs. You will use your clinical skills and knowledge to shape the service, support others in their development. You will work closely with all members of the Multidisciplinary Team and assist the Locality Team Lead with service development. You will be involved as needed in the complaints process and serious incidents reviews.
You will provide comprehensive assessments and deliver evidence-based specialist neuro occupational therapy programmes. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team in supporting patients with physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs to achieve their potential.

The ideal candidate should be flexible and adaptable to support service delivery.
The successful post holder must be able to travel independently across their work locality, have a valid driving licence and access to a car for work purposes.
