Overview
We are partnering with a leading consultancy to recruit a Sustainability Consultant for their Manchester studio. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking team delivering sustainable solutions across a broad range of high-profile projects.

The Role
* Work closely with clients and internal teams to develop and implement sustainability strategies
* Carry out environmental assessments and provide practical, data-driven recommendations
* Track and report on sustainability performance across projects
* Support continuous improvement in environmental performance across both projects and operations
* Engage in ongoing learning and development through training, mentoring, and CPD activities
* Contribute to a collaborative team culture through participation in studio and company-wide initiatives
Key Responsibilities
* Develop sustainability strategies, including frameworks for monitoring and reporting performance
* Deliver net zero carbon studies and advisory services
* Provide guidance on NABERS and wider ESG requirements
* Lead or support environmental certification processes such as BREEAM, LEED, SKA, and WELL
* Carry out life cycle assessments using tools such as One Click LCA
* Support compliance with environmental standards such as ISO 14001 and ISO 50001
* Keep up to date with evolving legislation, policy, and industry trends to inform project delivery
About You
* Experience within sustainability consultancy in the built environment
* Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and industry drivers
* Track record of delivering sustainability strategies and certification processes
* Familiarity with key frameworks and tools including BREEAM, LEED, WELL, NABERS, SKA, and LCA software
* Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
