Overview
Experienced Senior Psychologist sought to join two Learning Disabilities and Autism services, Ann House in Kendal and Gregory House in Workington. The successful applicant will support across both services and may work on a permanent basis (3 days at one service and 2 days at the other) or on a part-time basis at either service.
Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver individual and group psychological interventions, including diagnostic and cognitive assessments and risk assessments.
* Engage in MDT working, staff reflective practice, and design and deliver staff training.
* Carry a service user caseload, assess complex needs, and design and deliver specialist psychological treatments to support care plans.
Qualifications
* BPS-recognised psychology degree
* HCPC registered
* Registered Practitioner Psychologist
* Approved supervisor within BPS guidelines and relevant division
* Understanding of evidence-based psychological practice
* Experience applying psychological knowledge in Learning Disabilities and Autism settings
* Experience working with clients with cognitive deficits
* Experience conducting research and project work

* Ann House, Ann Street, Kendal, Cumbria, LA9 6AA (Learning Disability and Autism service for 16 adults)
* Gregory House, Furness Road, Workington, Cumbria, CA14 3PD (Learning Disability and Autism service for 24 adults)
