Elevation Recruitment Group's Technology and Transformation team are looking for a talented D365 Test Lead to manage the testing stream of a Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations re-implementation.
This is a hands-on, leadership role where you’ll own end-to-end testing for complex business and finance processes underpinned by Microsoft Dynamics.
* Core hours: Mon-Thu 9:00-17:30, Fri 9:00-15:30.
* Flexible working with up to 3 days in the Harrogate office, remainder remote.
As Test Lead, you’ll work closely with implementation partners, business users, and the internal programme team to ensure new functionality is thoroughly tested and signed off. You’ll be responsible for both manual and automated testing, focusing on areas like Finance, Procurement, Sales, Projects, and more.
Responsibilities of the D365 Test Lead:
* Lead testing activities across unit, functional, performance, and UAT phases
* Define and implement test strategies, policies, and process improvements
* Collaborate with business users to develop use cases, test plans, and criteria
* Track and manage defects, ensuring issues are resolved with internal teams and suppliers
* Prepare and maintain regression test packs for ongoing releases
* Present test results and progress to stakeholders across all levels of the business.
Key Skills & Experience required:
* Proven experience in Test Management and Testing with D365 F&O and CE
* Experience preparing Test Strategies, Test Plans, and Test Scripts
* Strong knowledge of accounting systems and regulatory change testing
* Hands-on experience with ADO, JIRA, Confluence, and automated/manual testing tools
* Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
* Experience leading meetings, workshops, and collaborating with cross-functional teams is desirable
