Responsibility & Qualifications
* Permanent position starting in January 2026
* MPS - UPS + TLR
* Must have some department management experience ideally, or at least 2-3 years experience
* Develop and co‑ordinate Drama links within the school, and other external agencies
* Lead, review and develop all area policies and strategies in line with the strategic aims of the school and aspiration for all pupils to find their purpose and thrive as citizens of the world
* Leading curriculum development for the whole learning area – excellent schemes of work already available trust wide.
* 11–16 Secondary school in Manchester – cohort of 1300+ pupils
* Excellent links to transport and on‑site parking
* CPD and career progression support within the school/trust
* Excellent policies such as behaviour management with support from the leadership team
* Part of a growing multi‑academy trust – trust benefits available to view on request
