Halstead, Essex Shift: 06:00 - 14:00 (Monday to Friday, no weekends or evenings)

£12.22 per hour
Weekly attendance bonus of £16 (for full attendance)

Main Objectives of the Role
Ensure products are processed and packed to customer specifications at optimum cost and efficiency.
Maintain compliance with product safety, legality, traceability, and quality standards.
Follow all health & safety requirements at all times.
Maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards consistently.
Key Responsibilities
Decanting
Inspect products for quality and foreign bodies.
Open bags, sacks, and boxes carefully to prevent contamination.
Decant at a pace that ensures the Multihead machine remains full.
Packing
Work as part of the packing line team under instruction from the Line Leader.
Minimise downtime and waste while improving productivity.
Pack, seal, and stack products according to customer specifications.
Remove defective products or materials promptly.
Apply labels accurately and in line with specifications.
Ensure hygiene, housekeeping, food safety, and allergen controls are met at all times.
Meet line speed requirements when working alone or in a team.
Complete clean-downs in line with validated work instructions.
Support and coach new staff, including agency workers.
Carry out all duties safely and in compliance with company standards.
Perform any other duties as requested by the Supervisor or Manager.
Candidate Requirements
Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
Training provided, but UK food production experience preferred .
Ability to work on feet for long periods.
Capable of moderate lifting (up to 10kg).
Reliable and punctual, with good attention to detail.
Own transport preferred due to limited public transport options.
