Our Community Service Centre in York is currently looking for a Community Equipment Engineer to join our small, friendly team. NRS Healthcare is the UK’s leading provider of Community Equipment Services, delivering end-to-end services through all stages of equipment provision and recycling within the healthcare sector.
We are seeking highly motivated individuals to help us improve people’s quality of life and independence. Our services enable people to remain in their homes, reducing unnecessary hospital stays and supporting NHS frontline care.
The Community Equipment Engineers play a vital role in our service. You will be responsible for delivering, setting up, collecting, servicing, and maintaining Wheelchairs, both powered and manual, at Service user properties and clinics.
The role involves working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm, with on-call duties one week in every four, covering evenings and weekends.
The Service Centre is located in York, from where you will be routed around North Yorkshire.
Experience with healthcare equipment installation is advantageous, and a valid Driving License is essential.
Most importantly, you should possess the care and compassion necessary to provide a welcoming, friendly face to our Service users during their hours of need.
