Sue Ross Recruitment are working on behalf of our client, a well established storage management company, to recruit a Finance Coordinator for a part-time, permanent position.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established organisation with a supportive office environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the finance function and supporting the Owner and Office Manager with a variety of administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities for the Finance Coodinator role:
* Using Sage 50 Accounting software to raise and process customer rental and supplier invoices
* Monitoring and reconciling bank accounts, petty cash, credit card payments and card machine slips
* Preparing and issuing renewal letters/contracts and managing customer records via the Net2 system
* Liaising with the payroll company and processing staff salaries
* Preparing and sending month-end data to the external accountants
* Processing supplier and HMRC payments
* Handling customer enquiries by phone and email, including chasing overdue payments
* Submitting utility meter readings and preparing tenant cross-charging invoices
* Carrying out ad hoc administrative duties such as ordering supplies and supporting senior staff
Candidate Requirements for the Finance Coodinator role:
* Proven experience using Sage 50
* Strong numerical and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
* Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
* A proactive and flexible team player who can also work independently
