Your new company A highly regarded organisation operating at the heart of the Lloyd's and London Market but working in Kent, is looking to appoint an Insurance Processing Manager to join its Central function. The organisation plays a key role in supporting market operations, delivering large-scale financial processing services across a complex, global insurance environment. Your new role As Insurance Processing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end financial settlement processes across premiums, claims and reinsurance transactions within the Lloyd's market. You will lead a team responsible for delivering a high-volume, high-value processing function, ensuring all transactions are completed accurately, efficiently and in line with governance standards. You will manage day-to-day operations, monitor performance and ensure that all processes are well controlled, audit-ready and continuously improved. The role will involve regular interaction with internal teams and external stakeholders, supporting the wider market with financial processing queries and requirements. In addition, you will lead on process improvement initiatives, drive efficiencies across the function and contribute to system enhancements and operational development. You will also have responsibility for team leadership and development, ensuring clear objectives, performance management and knowledge sharing across the team. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have prior experience within financial operations, settlements or processing environment, ideally within insurance, financial services or a similarly complex transactional organisation. You will have experience managing teams in a high-volume operational setting, as well as a strong understanding of process improvement, controls and governance. You should be comfortable working with financial, insurance or banking systems and have the ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively. Attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure are key. Knowledge of Lloyd's or London Market would be advantageous but is not essential.
