Job Description
3. Prepare and review financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards.
4. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data to internal and external stakeholders.
5. Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
6. Oversee reconciliation of accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
7. Provide support with audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
8. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
9. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other financial legislation.
10. Identify opportunities for process improvement within the accounting function.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
11. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.
12. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
13. Experience in the retail industry or a similar fast-paced environment.
