Key Responsibilities :
1. Support and lead proposals to secure new work.
2. Lead studies and prepare and review study reports
3. Assist clients to map energy and fuel usage and associated carbon equivalent emissions.
4. Assist clients to identify and screen reduction opportunities – feedstock, fuels, power sources, process & applicable technologies
5. Work with clients to identify and cost the milestones on their road to net-zero
6. Develop business relationships with clients and partnerships with in-house consulting teams.
7. Project manage and lead multi-disciplinary teams of engineers and other technical staff in the completion of projects.
8. Disseminate knowledge and expertise to team members and provide oversight of their project delivery work
9. Provide a technical interface and mange relationships with clients
10. Accountable for the financial performance of any studies managed
Education & Skills :
11. Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Process Engineering, Engineering Science, or a Sustainable Development-related discipline.
12. Minimum of 15 years relevant experience in energy sector
13. Ability to lead and work well in teams as well as mentor junior staff
14. Demonstrated ability to lead business development and project teams.
15. Strong health, safety, and environmental mindset.
16. Demonstrated proficiency in international best practices in energy and carbon efficiency.
17. Strong analytical skills
18. Experience leading large multi-disciplinary teams.
19. A confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
20. Demonstrable high-quality report writing and presentation skills
21. Good organisational and project management skills
Desirable:
22. Demonstrable background in decarbonisation studies and/or lifecycle analysis
23. Has experience in assisting clients to map energy and fuel usage and associated carbon equivalent emissions
24. Has experience in assisting clients to identify and screen emissions reduction opportunities
25. Chartered to an internationally recognised Professional body (or working towards)
