An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join a leading packaging manufacturing company based in Stoke Ferry. The business is continuing to invest heavily into the site and is looking to strengthen its engineering team with the addition of a skilled Maintenance Engineer on a permanent nights shift. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of packaging and production machinery, ensuring equipment reliability and minimising downtime across the factory. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer looking for a long‑term role within a stable and growing manufacturing environment offering strong earning potential.

Non‑Negotiable Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer
* Engineering Qualification / Apprenticeship
* Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing
* Strong electrical and/or mechanical fault‑finding skills
* Experience carrying out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
* Ability to work permanent nights
* Manufacturing or production environment experience
Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across site
* Responding quickly and effectively to machinery breakdowns
* Fault finding on production and packaging equipment
* Supporting continuous improvement projects
* Ensuring engineering documentation is completed accurately
* Working closely with production teams to maximise machine performance
* Maintaining high health and safety standards at all times
Desirable Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer
* Packaging industry experience
* Engineering qualification
* PLC fault‑finding experience
* Multi‑skilled engineering background
* Experience working with automated production machinery
