Job Description
What will you be doing?
We’re seeking a talented individual to support with the growth of our Financial Services Corporate Finance team and join as Director in London. As Director you will play a key role in leading and managing the relationship with clients, with the aim of developing new business from your current client base and beyond.
As Director, your responsibilities will include among others
Client service/Client work
* Provide excellent client service at all times and ensure that the customer experience is a priority across your team and that services provided are in line with the group’s Conduct Risk framework.
* Strive to achieve the Exceptional Advisor competencies and status.
* Ensure efficient, high quality pro-active and timely execution of advice and services for your clients.
* Ensure your clients’ requirements are serviced by members of your team of appropriate seniority, experience and technical ability and with the capacity to do the work to the highest standard.
Growing the Business
* Promote and build the group’s reputation internally and externally.
* Contribute to business strategy where relevant to help ensure that decisions put the client first and are commercially viable.
* Build and cultivate relationships with clients and potential clients of the group.
* Identify and pursue key targets.
Staff management and development
* Act as an effective leader in accordance with the Exceptional Leader profile and competencies.
* Ensure that your own high standards of technical and professional competence are maintained and are developed for other members of your team/direct reports.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should
* Proven complex client experience and client handling abilities.
* Extensive knowledge of practice area.
* Proven technical leadership.
* Experience and knowledge of staff management.
* Strong communication and inter-personal skills.
* Excellent marketing and business development skills as well as a strong commercial awareness.
Professional Qualifications and Education
* ICAEW (From Corporate Finance Faculty), ACA or Equivalent
