I am working on an exciting opportunity to join a high-growth Legal Firm looking to expand their finance team based in London. Having seen steady growth in recent years, resulting in them opening 3 offices across the UK, they are looking to take on an experience professional to lead their FP&A team. This role requires someone to take the lead on the oversight of the companies' performance and work alongside the SLT to ensure peak performance. Role responsibilities - Anaylse performance trends backed with data and be able to explain findings to SLT. Maintain the organisations' cashflow and portfolio models in order to evaluate the companies' performance. Build and maintain complex financial models to support strategic decisions. Analyse any cash flow impacts, key investment metrics and risks. Recommend process and system improvements. Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth. Lead in building and refining the companies' financial systems, reporting tools, and workflows. Ensure performance reports and dashboards are accurate and report these to the executive team. Ensuring compliance with the relevant external and internal regulatory reporting demands and financial policies. Utilising automation and technology to improve financial reporting and analysis. Suitable candidates will need to demonstrate a strong history in financial anaylsis portfolio monitoring and ideally a background within a legal finance organisation. The role requires candidates to possess a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting or any similar fields. In addition, a CFA or master's degree is ideal. A strong track record in implementing FP&A tools and financial modelling is necessary in order to do well in this position. The successful candidate will need to be demonstrate previous experience that shows attention to detail, an analytical approach and a sound understanding of investment evaluation and risk assessment. The organisation currently adopts a hybrid working model, with the successful candidate being required in the office 4 days a week. The organisations' offices are based in central London providing great transport links to London and the surrounding areas.
