Diagnostic Technician / MechanicAre you an experienced Workshop Technician looking to join a small, privately owned garage? We're a friendly and busy workshop dedicated to providing top-quality MOTs, servicing, and mechanical repairs for a wide range of road cars. We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and high standards of workmanship.We're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic individual who can hit the ground running. You'll be a key part of our small team, responsible for diagnosing and resolving a variety of vehicle issues.What you'll be doing:· Performing vehicle diagnostics using modern equipment to identify faults accurately.· Carrying out routine servicing in line with manufacturer specifications.· Undertaking a broad range of mechanical repairs, including brakes, suspension, clutches, and engine work.· Conducting MOT pre-checks and presenting vehicles for test.· Investigating and resolving complex intermittent faults.· Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.· Communicating effectively with colleagues and customers regarding vehicle issues and repairs.What we're looking for:· Proven experience as a Workshop Technician in a garage environment.· Strong diagnostic skills and a solid understanding of vehicle electrical and mechanical systems.· Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.· A comprehensive understanding of all aspects of general vehicle maintenance and repair.· Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.· Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.· A valid UK driving license.· An MOT Tester qualification is highly desirable, but not essential if you have strong relevant experience.What we offer:· A competitive salary based on experience.· Opportunity to work in a supportive and friendly team environment.· Varied work across different makes and models.· Ongoing training and development opportunities.If you're a dedicated and skilled technician who enjoys working in a close-knit team, we'd love to hear from you!Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: £30,000.00-£38,000.00 per yearSchedule:* Monday to FridayExperience:* garage: 3 years (preferred)Licence/Certification:* and clean drivers license (preferred)Work Location: In personReference ID: Diagnostic Technician / Mechanic
