Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to children within the Specialist Unit, promoting independence and confidence
Assist with the delivery of individual learning programmes and interventions
Support the class teacher in maintaining a calm, safe, and engaging environment
Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and external agencies
Celebrate every achievement and uphold the school’s inclusive values
Embrace ongoing training and contribute to a team who always go the extra mile
Requirements:
Previous experience supporting children with SEND (desirable but not essential)
A nurturing, patient, and flexible approach
Excellent teamwork, communication, and a good sense of humour
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
A willingness to learn and develop professionally

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
