IT Lead
Manage and be responsible for all IT and Tech, including projects and the usual business day-to-day end user support for a Wirral manufacturer that has over 100+ end users.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will ensure the smooth running of all daily operations while leading high-impact projects that define the company's future. From driving digital automation and transitioning to paperless systems to expanding WFH capabilities and managing the tech integration for a larger warehouse move, this role directly fuels business growth.
Salary up to 40k. This is an office-based role. Hours 8am-5pm Monday to Thursday, and a 12:30 finish on Friday.
Technical Skills & Experience
The successful IT Lead will be a hands-on technical expert with a proven track record in Windows Servers, Active Directory, Azure, and Office365 Administration, alongside MDM solutions. To be successful, you must demonstrate experience in managing an entire IT function or playing a lead role within a small team.
We are looking for a proactive professional who has delivered tangible projects, rather than someone who has focused solely on day-to-day support.
This newly created position aims to bring IT ownership back in-house. Currently supported by a Managed Service Provider, the company now requires a dedicated, on-site expert to move the department away from a reactive break-fix model toward a strategic, forward-thinking IT strategy.
