About the role
The successful candidate/s for this new role within the organisation will be responsible for:
1. Managing/administer of procurement activities/ processes (in collaboration with end users
2. Input to regular reports on procurement activities for Executive Team and Audit & Risk Committee (provide source data, draft reports)
3. Working with outsourced service providers to ensure procurements undertaken on behalf of CES are done so in accordance with CES procurement policy and relevant Scottish public sector regulations and requirements.
4. Suggesting periodic updates/ improvements to CES procurement strategy/ policy
5. Representing CES in external procurement networks and activities where required or appropriate.
6. Administration of all procurement related activities
7. To support, ensuring all procurement activities (including those delivered by outsourced partners (e.g. Managing Agents) satisfy regulatory and legal requirements
8. Maintain the CES Contracts Register, ensuring business-wide compliance and engagement and that our register is complete and current at all times.
9. Support production of Annual Procurement Report
