The Opportunity As a Resource Scheduler, youll take ownership of scheduling field engineers and subcontractors across multiple projects and service contracts. You'll be the linchpin that ensures the right engineers are in the right place at the right time maximising productivity while maintaining outstanding service standards. This role is ideal for someone with strong scheduling or operational experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift quickly and where client satisfaction is the end goal. Key Responsibilities Plan, schedule, and coordinate field engineers and subcontractors to meet client deadlines and KPIs. Allocate chargeable work effectively to support departmental revenue and productivity goals. Respond to client-specific booking requests with speed and precision. Monitor project milestones, adjusting resources to keep jobs on track. Act as the first point of contact for internal teams and client queries related to scheduling. Quickly resolve clashes, resource issues, or delays with minimal disruption to service. Provide regular performance and scheduling reports to internal stakeholders. Maintain accurate scheduling records, job statuses, and financial details. Ensure that scheduled work contributes to the profitability and success of client contracts. What We're Looking For A strong background in resource planning, engineer scheduling, or field service coordination. Confident using scheduling systems and resource management software. Excellent communicator, able to build rapport with engineers, internal teams, and clients. Sharp problem-solving abilities and calm under pressure. Commercially aware, with a good understanding of KPIs, service delivery, and profitability. A collaborative team player who thrives on delivering results through people.
