Job Summary The Digital and Data Officer will support the digital and transformation lead in delivering digital implementation, social media, web and data quality initiatives across the 13 GP practices of Greater Derby and Oakdale Park PCNs and their collaborative Partners. The role will also include responsibility for supporting the ongoing maintenance and development of systems configuration, cloud based reporting and data analysis to support the operational clinical delivery arm of Primary Healthcare Derby. We will develop the successful candidate in accessing the tools, training, and support to adopt digital solutions, maintain high data standards, and comply with NHS information governance requirements. The postholder will act as a first point of contact for digital and data queries, supporting clinical and administrative teams to optimise systems and improve patient access. Key ResponsibilitiesDigital Support & Implementation Provide first-line support for clinical systems and applications (e.g. SystmOne, AccuRx) to the clinical team at Primary Healthcare Derby Assist the Digital and Transformation Lead with configuration and deployment of IT equipment, mobile devices and software. Support practices in implementing national digital priorities (e.g., patient online access, NHS App uptake). Data Quality & Reporting Monitor and improve data quality across clinical systems, ensuring compliance with coding standards and templates. Run searches and produce reports for QOF, Enhanced Services, neighbourhood collaborative working and population health management. Support audits and data validation processes. Ensuring the SystmOne Clinical Unit is kept up to date Training & Engagement Deliver basic digital skills training and support for Primary Healthcare Derby's staff and workforce Partners. Governance & Compliance Ensure adherence to GDPR, NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit, and local information governance policies. Maintain accurate documentation of data flows and digital assets. Key Working Relationships: The post holder will be required to communicate and provide highly complex information to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Commit to working and engaging constructively with internal and external stakeholders on a range of highly sensitive issues. Nurture key relationships and maintain networks internally and externally, including national networks where appropriate. This includes building relationships with wide range of supporting organisations.
